The Marketing Manager will develop and execute marketing programs to support the growth of the company across its construction equipment sales, rental, parts and service departments. Strong people skills and the ability to work cohesively with others are critical. Must be a self-starter with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator. Graphic design skills and experience with CRM systems are a plus.

DUTIES & TASKS

 

  • Develop and implement short and long-term marketing strategies that support the company's business objectives.
  • Manage the planning and execution of all digital and traditional marketing/advertising programs to drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Lead Customer Relationship Management (CRM) initiatives, including user training and system enhancements.
  • Develop and manage effective search engine optimization (SEO) and paid search advertising campaigns to increase lead generation and promote the company's online presence.
  • Responsible for oversight and updates to company websites and provide leadership for all online marketing efforts.
  • Use graphic design skills to create effective company marketing and promotional materials that adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Grow the company's social media presence by generating and scheduling relevant content.
  • Support industry trade show participation and corporate sponsorship initiatives handling all related event coordination and logistics.
  • Manage and prioritize memberships with relevant local, regional and industry associations.
  • Oversee the procurement and inventory management of promotional giveaway items, corporate apparel, and product marketing literature.
  • Work closely with V.P. of Sales to analyze and report on key performance metrics and present effective programs to the sales teams.
  • Evaluate manufacturer and product-level market share and generate programs to drive growth.
  • Assist in annual budget development and monitor progress throughout the year.
  • Establish successful working relationships with key manufacturer and vendor contacts.
  • Comply in a timely manner with all supplier and manufacturer required processes and information, including co-op marketing compliance.
  • Collect and update customer contact information for sales, parts and service departments.
  • Generate and distribute industry leads, contacts and UCC data to internal sales and product support teams.
  • Make high-level strategic marketing recommendations in response to changing market environment.
  • Coordinate market and opinion surveys and conduct research initiatives for all segments of business activities including, new & used equipment sales, rentals, parts and service operations.
  • Write and distribute company or product-specific press releases as needed to local, industry and trade publications.
  • Work closely with organization's marketing team to ensure that efficiencies are shared and best practices are carried out.
  • In addition to McClung-Logan Equipment Company, this position will manage the marketing for other M-L Holdings Companies or subsidiaries as assigned.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 4+ year's prior relevant marketing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field preferred; MBA degree a plus.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to pay attention to detail.
  • Travel as needed  

          Must be able to pass a post job offer drug screen and physical.
